Let ChatGPT handle your recruiter messages, within the rules you set
Recruiter Inbox Agent is a ready-to-paste prompt for your own ChatGPT. It reviews recruiter emails and LinkedIn messages, drafts and sends the routine replies you authorize, shares your approved résumé, books interviews around your calendar and keeps a private tracker of every opportunity.
Runs in your own ChatGPT account with the apps you connect, on a paid plan that includes ChatGPT Work. ChatGPT is not included, what it can do depends on your plan, region and settings, and LinkedIn restricts automated messaging, so we include a drafts-only LinkedIn setting.

Recruiter messages don't arrive in one place
Outreach is good news until it spreads across two inboxes and a calendar. Keeping up turns into a part-time job.
Split across Gmail and LinkedIn
Some recruiters email, some message on LinkedIn, and some do both about the same role. It's easy to answer one and miss the other.
Replies that wait
A message that sits for days can stall a process, and a reply written in a rush can leave out what you actually want to ask.
Calendar back-and-forth
Booking links, time zones and proposed slots all have to be checked against what's already on your calendar.
Opportunities that slip
Which résumé went where, what pay was mentioned, who's waiting on you: without a record, the details get lost.
What the prompt has ChatGPT do
Each part runs only where your ChatGPT setup has the tools and permissions for it. The prompt tells ChatGPT to say exactly what's missing instead of claiming access it doesn't have.
Review recruiter messages
Reads recruiter emails from the last three weeks and LinkedIn messages from the last two months, identifies the recruiter, company and role, and matches duplicates across both.
Personalized replies
Drafts short replies specific to each conversation: interest in a role, verified screening answers, questions about scope and pay, and requests for times. It sends the routine replies you authorize, within your ChatGPT approval settings. For LinkedIn we recommend drafts you send yourself.
Approved résumé sharing
Sends only the résumé file you approve, only to recruiters who ask for it, and never twice across channels. If the version is unclear, it asks you first.
Calendar-aware scheduling
Checks your calendars before booking through a recruiter’s link, keeps interviews inside your hours, respects your daily limit and gaps, and asks before moving an existing meeting. If it can’t accept an invite for you, it says so.
Company research
Adds a short, dated summary of each company with sources: product, stage, verified funding, recent news and questions worth asking. Unknowns are marked, not guessed.
Private opportunity tracker
Keeps an owner-private tracker of every role in whatever private app your ChatGPT setup supports, such as a spreadsheet, filterable by pay, location, work arrangement, company and stage.
Gmail organization
Creates a Recruiting label and, where supported, conservative filters for future mail. Nothing is deleted, forwarded or archived automatically, and unrelated email stays out of it.
Recurring follow-through
Runs as a ChatGPT scheduled task, up to hourly where your plan allows. It skips repetitive nudges and only notifies you when something changes.
One private view of every opportunity
ChatGPT builds the tracker with whatever your plan supports, often a private Google Sheet or ChatGPT Site, so your columns and layout may differ.
| Company | Role | Source | Pay | Stage | Next step |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Acme Analytics | Senior Data Engineer | $165k–180k base | Interview booked | Tue 10:00 ET, recruiter call | |
| Globex Health | Staff Product Designer | Gmail | Not stated | Replied | Asked for the pay range |
| Initech Systems | Platform Engineer, contract | Gmail + LinkedIn | $95/hr | Résumé sent | Waiting on recruiter |
| Vandelay Industries | Engineering Manager | Above target | New | Review fit |

The prompt authorizes routine recruiting work and draws clear lines around everything else.
- Never asks you to paste passwords into the chat
- Never invents experience, salary history, sponsorship answers or qualifications
- Doesn't reveal your minimum salary unprompted, and keeps base, bonus, equity and hourly rates separate
- Asks before accepting offers, fees, exclusivity or representation agreements
- Never cancels or reschedules an existing meeting without asking
- Never deletes, forwards or archives email automatically
- Judges roles on job-related criteria only
- Reports only actions it has verified as completed
From purchase to first run
You set it up once in your own ChatGPT. After that, the prompt carries the rules.

Paste into ChatGPT

- 04
Connect your accounts
Connect Gmail and Google Calendar as apps in ChatGPT. For LinkedIn, ChatGPT’s browser shows its own secure sign-in form. Passwords never go in the chat.
- 05
Add your preferences
Fill in the 16 bracketed fields, or answer when ChatGPT asks, and attach your current résumé to the chat.
- 06
Approve the workflow
ChatGPT reports what it can reach and asks before any action your permission settings require. After the first review it sets up the hourly task itself, so read the first replies and pause or edit that task in ChatGPT if anything needs changing.

Who it's for, and what you need first
A good fit if you
- Get regular recruiter outreach and want faster, consistent replies
- Are running several hiring processes at once across email and LinkedIn
- Hear from contract or agency recruiters about your rates and availability
- Want a private, searchable record of every opportunity
Not a fit if you want
- A hosted app, or a service that applies to jobs for you
- Guaranteed interviews, offers or fully unattended automation
Before you start, you'll need
- ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise with ChatGPT Work and scheduled tasks (not included). As of October 2026, sending Gmail replies from ChatGPT works on those plans in ChatGPT on the web (chatgpt.com), and workspace admins may need to allow it.
- Gmail and Google Calendar, connected as apps in ChatGPT
- A LinkedIn account, if you want LinkedIn covered (read the LinkedIn note in the FAQ)
- Your current résumé as a file
- Your preferences: target roles, salary target and minimum, locations and interview hours
Recruiter Inbox Agent: common questions
Is ChatGPT included?
No. You run the prompt in your own ChatGPT account, on ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise with ChatGPT Work and scheduled tasks. As of October 2026, sending Gmail replies from ChatGPT works in ChatGPT on the web (chatgpt.com), and Free and Go plans can’t run this setup. OpenAI changes plan features, names and regional availability, so check OpenAI’s Help Center before you buy.
Which accounts does it need?
Gmail and Google Calendar, connected as apps in ChatGPT, plus LinkedIn if you want it covered. You connect your own accounts. ChatGPT’s browser uses its own secure sign-in form, and the prompt tells ChatGPT never to ask for passwords in the chat.
Does it work with LinkedIn?
Only through ChatGPT’s cloud browser, where you sign in yourself, and only if LinkedIn lets that browser in. As supplied, the prompt lets ChatGPT send routine LinkedIn replies too. LinkedIn’s User Agreement prohibits bots and other unauthorized automated methods for sending messages, and LinkedIn can restrict accounts that use them, so we recommend the drafts-only LinkedIn edit shown on the access page. The Gmail and calendar steps work without LinkedIn.
Will it send messages without asking me?
As written, the prompt authorizes routine recruiting replies, requested résumé sends and first-interview bookings without your review of each one, and requires your approval for offers, fees, exclusivity and other commitments. ChatGPT’s own permission settings may still ask you to confirm a send, and a scheduled run waits until you do. To approve everything yourself, the access page has a ready-made replacement paragraph. Avoid the “Allow all actions” setting, because the agent reads email from people you don’t know.
Can it really check every hour?
Hourly checks run as a ChatGPT scheduled task. Your plan sets how often tasks can run, how many you can keep active and how much usage each run takes. Tasks can pause when they need your approval or after a period of inactivity. The prompt tells ChatGPT to confirm the schedule and explain any limits instead of claiming it’s running.
Can it accept calendar invites for me?
Only where your ChatGPT setup supports it. OpenAI doesn’t currently document accepting Google Calendar invites, so the prompt has ChatGPT verify each booking and tell you what’s missing. Some invites may need your click.
How long does setup take?
Setup means filling in 16 fields, attaching your résumé and connecting your accounts in ChatGPT. The prompt has ChatGPT gather any missing details in one short batch, and it keeps working on what it can while it waits.
What happens to my data?
Seqora never sees your emails, résumé, calendar or tracker. The prompt runs inside your ChatGPT account and the apps you connect, under OpenAI’s terms and your settings. We keep your name and email from the moment you start checkout, plus your purchase record (payments are handled by Stripe, emails are sent through Resend). We use them to give you access and to send the occasional product update, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. See our privacy policy.
What exactly do I get for $5?
The full prompt, 16 editable preference fields, a setup checklist, a copy button, a plain-text download and sign-in links to your purchase email whenever you need them. It’s a one-time payment, not a subscription.
Does it guarantee interviews or a job?
No. It helps you reply faster and stay organized. Outcomes depend on the roles, the recruiters and you.
Can I edit the prompt?
Yes. It’s plain text. Change the review windows, the hourly schedule or the approval rules to suit how you work.
How do I get back to it later?
Open the access page and enter your purchase email. We’ll send a sign-in link that works for one hour. Devices you’ve signed in on stay signed in for 90 days.
Is Seqora affiliated with OpenAI, Google or LinkedIn?
No. Seqora is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI, Google or LinkedIn. ChatGPT, Gmail and LinkedIn are trademarks of their respective owners.
